1. TAG SIZE: Small or Large
Small (1 inch diameter) or Large (1 1/2 inch diameter).
2. TAG SHAPE: Star, Heart or Bone shape. Bone shape is not available in the painted styles (Jolly Roger, Maltese Cross, etc)
3. TAG METAL: Nickel silver or gold tone bronze (Solid nickel silver or solid yellow bronze, not plated metals. NICKEL SILVER IS A MUCH HARDER METAL THAN BRONZE, AND IS MORE DURABLE THAN BRONZE. IT ALSO HAS LITTLE OR NO SIGN OF TARNISHING!) We recommend nickel silver for any rough housing pets, or pets exposed to elements that tarnish bronze. Yes, it can be easily cleaned with a liquid metal cleaner available at the Grocery store.) LOOKING FOR STERLING SILVER? ORDER BASIC SOLID METAL: Available in any shape, size and metal choice. No embellishment. Free engraving as with all our tags.
ORDER FULLY JEWELED TAGS: (specify stone
color, the Flag Tag, Mermaid Tag, RA Tag-select any outline and
fill jewel colors, Kaleidoscope tags mix all of our colors into one tag & Spectrum tags: choose your theme for the spectrum, our new lava, amethyst - ruby - emerald - or blue sapphire) All come in any shape, size and metal choices.
Rainbow tags are available only in the Star shape! Pet tags come automatically with a light stone coating. But, for
extra rough and rugged,sporting dogs, request our "SUPER
COATING". More info under #6 Tag Application below.

FRONT ENGRAVED OUTLINE TAGS:
(specify
outlining stone color(s) Star shaped tags will have accents stones
in the five points only, one per corner on small tags and usually three per corner on large. Bone shape tags have accent stones in the corner curve areas. There is a 5 character limit on the face
of a small tag, 6 character limit on the face of a large tag.
Also available are two lines of engraving on the front, but the
second line has a 3 character limit. We can fit in more, but the
text does get quite a bit smaller or pressed together and does
not look as good. Plenty of room to engrave all your information
on the back just like all the others.) Initial tags can also be
done FEO. Hearts are stoned all the way around, stars have accent
stones in the points. Holiday FEO with Swarovski accents - design varies slightly with each artist! For Special color outlines, write in "Flag" or "Kaleidoscope" or "Rainbow" as your Crystal choice.
INITIAL TAGS (order as "FEO" WITHOUT CRYSTALS): (pick your initial-"M" or "S" or ?) Hearts, Stars, any size any metal. Initial tags can also be done FEO. Hearts are stoned all the way around, stars have accent stones in the points. See FEO tags above for photos.

5. TAG ENGRAVING INSTRUCTIONS:
Small tags can have up to 5 lines of text (6 gets very small and cramped), Large tags up to 6 lines (7 is really pushing it.) Stainless Steel tags are readable with up to 5 lines of text per side.
Remember that the more you write, the smaller the text will be. It's a good idea to leave your zip code off of pet tags, it takes up a lot of space and your pet will never be shipped to you!
MEDICAL ID TAGS - just print out whatever information you would like to have appear on the back of your tag, we'll work with you to engrave the necessary info to it's best advantage as we do with all our tags.

TAG STONE COATING:
TAG COATING OPTIONS AVAILABLE TO PROTECT YOUR CRYSTALS ON FULLY JEWELED TAGS:
We automatically put a light SUPER COAT on the Front Engraved Outline tags for pets.
LIGHT COAT: This coating offers a minimal amount of crystal protection. The polymer shows off the depth and shape of the individual stones better because it is a very thin layer of protection. It's what we automatically put on a tag unless otherwise instructed.
SUPER COAT: Have a really rough and ready sporting, water loving or extra playful type dog? Request our 2500 lb. test SUPER COATING! It changes the look of the crystals to more of a comed crystal without facets, but the color remains, adding a fabulous shine, and it will make your tag very reflective and rugged. Super Coat is much stronger than the polymer. The polymer shows off the depth and shape of the individual stones better because it is a very thin layer of protection. It's what we normally use for pet tags if you don't request the Super Coating. We automatically put a light SUPER COAT on the Front Engraved Outline tags for pets.
NO COATING: No coating will be put on the tag at all. This is fine for tags just being used on pets for photo sessions, special occasions and jewelry for people. The crystals are Swarovski 99% leaded crystal, so smacking them into a hard surface is much like smacking a crystal goblet into metal or porcelain, etc.
